Junior SEO Specialist (Graduate / Entry-Level)

Job Position
We’re looking for a tech-savvy Junior SEO Specialist to support our Ads Manager/SEO Specialist with day-to-day SEO implementation and website optimisation tasks. This role is ideal for a graduate or someone with minimal experience who’s eager to build a career in SEO and PPC.

Responsibilities Include

  • Implement on-site SEO updates on WordPress (including meta data updates)
  • Assist with image optimisation (compression, naming conventions, alt text, sizing)
  • Support with basic SEO audits (checking key on page and technical elements)
  • Read, review and edit content for SEO best practices (clarity, structure, keyword usage)
  • Help identify issues and opportunities across pages (broken links, missing tags, duplicate content, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the Ads Manager/SEO Specialist to complete tasks accurately and on time

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • A completed or in-progress degree/diploma/certificate in Marketing, Communications, IT, Digital Marketing or a related field (advantageous)
  • Strong interest in building a career in SEO / PPC / digital marketing
  • Solid computer literacy and confidence working online (browsers, spreadsheets, CMS tools)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
  • Good written English and a practical approach to content editing
