Farewell Jordan
It is always hard to say goodbye to our Kings and Queens in the kingdom but it is also a proud moment to watch great talent develop, succeed and move on.
It’s time to bid Jordan Shandler, co-head of the Google Ads team at SearchKings™ Africa, farewell and good luck as he takes on his next big career challenge.
Having spent the better part of the last 3 years and 11 months working with SearchKings™ Africa’s clients to help them dominate online, Jordan has been equally inspired in the process “I’ve learned so much about the industries they operate in as well as had a view through the keyhole into the inner workings of various businesses. Not to mention the great people who I’ve had the pleasure of learning from for the last 4 years.”
Jordan also reminisces about all the things he is going to miss from daily team lunches (pre Covid), the constant banter and shared learnings. His advice to anyone considering getting into the Google trenches at SearchKings™ Africa is to just do it – “I didn’t know Google Ads existed before I joined SearchKings and if I can learn it then so can you.”
SearchKings™ Africa founder Brett Perlstein describes Jordan as an exceptional account manager who will be missed by the entire team and of course his clients. “Jordan has been an incredible team member and account manager – guiding his clients with purpose and intent and always learning and growing to be the best he can be for everyone around him. Personal and professional development is so important to us in the Kingdom and Jordan’s new opportunity is testimony to our commitment to nurturing talent and fast-tracking growth. We wish him every success.”
As for Jordan’s parting words “Thank you to the amazing people I’ve had the privilege of working with and learning from. You’ve taught me so much that I’ll be able to take forward in my personal and professional life. From the laughs to the learnings, I could never forget SearchKings™ and the team – I hope to see you all again soon. A special shout out to Brett who gave me the opportunity when I had no relevant experience (and probably no business getting the job). Your mentorship and friendship have helped me immeasurably and I look forward to many more shared experiences in the future.”
Good luck Jordan, go well and dominate online!
